When Steve Fletcher (his friends know him as “Fletch”) isn’t brewing beer at AC Golden, he enjoys skiing the slopes of Colorado or crafting rock-n-roll licks with one of his many guitars. Fletch has been brewing beer for over 20 years.

As well as a Diploma in Brewing from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling, he has completed a variety of studies at the University of Galway in Ireland and Regis University in Denver. He’s also well-trained in selecting hops, and has been to Europe and all around the world in search of the ultimate hop varieties to make the ultimate beer.

It comes as no surprise to us though, as a true Colorado boy, he was born and raised here with the great tradition of brewing beer. Luckily for AC Golden, those Rocky Mountain ski slopes take a back seat to the beer.

Fletch is a member of the Master Brewers Association of the Americas.
